Tales of a Button Jar...

I decided to do a little photo shoot with our lovely jar of buttons,
(for a challenge, i only allowed myself to take the shots from one area in the rom)
I wanted to see how many angles i could come up with just by staying in one spot, so i set the jar on the coffee table, and sat down on the loveseat...
With this first picture, i was trying to get the four layers to look nice [the jar, mat, glass, and table]

With the second picture, i wanted to get the yellows from the blanket on the couch into the background, and was attempting to make boken, but there was not enough light.

This last was a last ditch picture, my sunlight was fading....
but i do love it because it shows all the diffrent colored buttons!

Well, that's all for now!
Shabbat Shalom everyone!

Doodletopia →Book Review←

                                    Doodletopia: Cartoons by Christopher Hart

As Some of you may (or may not) know, i am trying to learn how to draw...
and i was delighted to get a chance to try this book out!
Christopher Hart has managed to make a book that is not only helpful, but also fun! You get to complete half of his drawings, add details, draw on clothes and all sorts of interesting stuff! and he explains it in a step by step process that is fun and entertaining!

I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to learn how to draw cartoons :D
